Step 1 — The trip

No spam, no obligation. Your details are only used to prepare your quote.

What you can expect

  • A reply from a real, English-speaking person — not an automated pricing engine.
  • What travel insurance is designed to do, and where it stops — it is not a substitute for resident health cover.
  • How residency in Spain changes which travel policies you are eligible for.
  • We use your details to respond to your enquiry and manage your quote request.

What happens next

  1. We review your details
We will review the trip, the travellers and the cover you need.
  2. You receive clear options
By email or a call — whichever you prefer.
  3. You decide in your own time
We answer questions and arrange the cover when you are ready.

Before you start

What to have ready

The first question decides which policies are even available to you.

  • Whether you are resident in Spain, and since when.
  • Ages of everyone travelling.
  • Where you are going, and for how long.
  • Whether you want a single trip or annual cover.
  • Any medical condition for anyone travelling.
  • Whether the cover is needed to support a visa application, and for which authority.
  • Anything unusual about the trip: a cruise, winter sports, or an activity beyond ordinary holiday use.

Why residency comes first

Travel insurance is one of the few products where where you live decides what you may buy, not just what you pay.

Policies commonly require the insured to reside in the country of purchase. A policy bought in another country while you live here can therefore be the wrong policy however good it looks, and that is discovered at claim time rather than at purchase.

The second thing residency changes is what the cover is for. Travel insurance covers trips away from where you live. It is not health insurance for living in Spain and it does not satisfy the insurance requirements of a residence visa, which are a different product with different conditions.

Declare medical conditions for everyone travelling, including ones that feel settled. An undeclared condition is the most common reason a genuine medical claim abroad is reduced or refused.

Asking for a quote commits you to nothing. We do not need payment details to prepare one, and nothing is arranged until you say so.
